US rapper and singer Angel Haze has been announced as a global ambassador for Arms Around the Child, a charity which focuses on providing protection and treatment for orphans affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.

Haze said 'As a once underprivileged child, I feel it's important to provide children of similar destructive, limited, or abusive backgrounds not just the freedom to choose where they want to go and who they want to be, but the resources as well'.
